As have been discussed before, dental health is very important.  Not only can it affect one’s appearance, it also affect’s one’s overall health.  Missing teeth are one concern of  people worried about their health.  In order to help missing teeth a person usually looks at getting a dental bridge.  A dental bridge is a tooth which is fused between two porcelain crowns or veneers to fill in a space left by a missing tooth.

If a person has been losing teeth but have good oral hygiene they should look into getting a dental bridge.  Spaces left unfilled may cause the adjoining teeth to grow out of position.  Also, spaces from missing teeth can cause other teeth as well as gums to become more susceptible to tooth decay and gum disease.

The average dental bridge cost depends on different  factors,  it depends on which region of the country a person is  in and how many types of bridges are needed.  Dental bridge cost usually range from $ 450 – 850 per tooth.  Dental insurance can pay for half of the cost.  The cost is usually per tooth in the bridge only.  A person may have to pay extra for the costs of any anchoring crowns on each side of the bridge.
