What exactly is a PPO?  PPOs are usually equated with dental insurance, however that statement is not entirely true.  PPOs just refer to the fact that a consumer can choose a  of their choice.

The aetna dental ppo model allows participants to use dentists in any network, without the use of a primary care provider for referrals to dentists and hospitals.  Similar models on dental plans and health plans do exist.

PPO Dental plans are designed for consumers looking to maintain their oral health while minimizing dental care expenses.  It is a cost effective way to get the proper oral care a person and their family needs.
